Let’s start with something else. It seemed that every time we walked in Milan, we came across colorful graffiti. Unlike other cities where Graffiti is often a symbol of decay and misery, the street art in Milan was very refined and tasteful. In particular, I recommend walking around the neighborhoods of Leoncavallo, Isola and Porta Ticinese. In addition, you will experience the best street art that the city has to offer.

We did not have bad food in Milan (or in Lombardy). But for a unique dish in the city, be sure to try the Risotto alla Milanese. This dish is composed of a starchy rice that has a unique ability to absorb liquids such as cheese and butter.
With nothing but Saffron, cheese and butter, the simplicity of this dish makes it a winner. Therefore, it is designed as a Primo (first course). But it fills enough to be a meal in itself.
The Risotto alla Milanese testifies to the history and the opulence of Milan. The Court would have been born in the sixteenth century. This makes it a staple of local cuisine.
